Welcome

Welcome to “jmp start ;microcomputers”. I’m Graham and i repair, restore, operate, and enjoy microcomputers from 1978 to 1995. It’s my hobby.

This site describes my activities since i caught the vintage microcomputing bug back in 2017. I kept a lot of notes with the thought that one day they may be of interest to others. The time has come to put them out there.

At present most machines only have a brief introduction, but there’s already quite a lot of detail on some of the more unusual machines, including the ECS Microsystems 4500, Dick Smith System 80, Pulsar 7500, Pulsar 9000, HP-85, HP-150, TRS-80 Model I, Exidy Sorcerer, CBM 4016, Lexitron VT1303 & VT202, and a couple of S-100 machines.

For more background and goals, have a look at the introduction post.
